Half Bottles and Sugar Lumps

Just a quick reminder,

For our science topic - You need a small water bottle or other transparent container. This is to transplant our bean seeds when they are too big for the propagator in the classroom.

Also, Sugar lumps for making pyramids on Tuesday afternoon.

Bean Power!

After less than a day Helena’s bean has started to show signs of life.  We took dried broad beans.  We soaked them in water first, then have laid them on a bed of wet cotton wool.

Assembly on Monday - Advanced Notice

Hi All,
I’ve just confirmed with Mr Mullally that our postponed assembly will be on Monday 30th June.  A letter should be coming out soon!

Science Filming

We have been busy thinking today about our Science work this year.  We are thinking about how we can show what we have learnt this year in Science lessons.  Remember to think carefully about the different ideas and how they will look on screen!

I had a great time on my visit to Hortus today - despite the butterflies but my group have promised to keep that a secret!

Memory Sticks

Dear 3C’s Parents

As you will now know, all of the children in 3C were given a memory stick today - This is so they can bring in photos, film clips and such for their video work in class, lots of which we hope to show in our assembly next week.
Unfortunately there is a small piece of software on the memory stick which is not necessary and doesn’t work with our school network, I ask that you delete this off the memory stick. It would be useful if they were labeled with their names and Class 3C in case they are misplaced.
