Magic Measurments

October 10th, 2007

This week in our Numeracy work we are busy measuring the length of things in and out of the classroom.  We are using metres, centimetres and millimetres - depending on the item we are measuring.

    Dear Aoi

We have been missing you too!
It has been Open Week here, so lots and lots of mums and dads in school and in the class too.
Also it was my (Mr Chapman) assembly too - I was a large carrot in a story we told!

Nice weblog 3C. I am very pleased to hear you have all enjoyed the maths work on measuring. Can you work out the answer to these questions? How many cm in 5 metres? How many cm in half a metre? Thanks Mr Chapman for the counting stick! How generous of you, and thanks for the dustpan and brush too, such a kind man! Mr Chapman, please could you tell me how you post your photos in the way you do….(mine alwsy ’stick’ together, if you know what I mean.)
